Kara Widdison

Kara Widdison is an experienced professional with a background in event management and marketing. Currently serving as a Senior Events Manager at Cengage Group since May 2019, Kara has also held the position of Online Events Manager. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager, and Marketing Specialist at SnapApp from January 2016 to May 2019. Earlier in the career, Kara worked at Wheelock College as Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions and Admissions Visit Coordinator from August 2011 to December 2015. An internship at Gateway Arts in early 2010 provided foundational experience. Kara holds a Master's Degree in Communication from Lasell University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Psychology, Visual Art & Human Services from Wheelock College.
