Ashley King has served as the Admissions Manager and Registrar at the Literacy Council of Northern Virginia since January 2013, where responsibilities include supervising the IT Database Administrator and overseeing the intake and assessment process for learners. Additionally, Ashley has functioned as an ESOL Instructor Trainer and has held various roles such as Admissions Manager and Student Advisor, managing student assessments and coordinating classes. Since April 2014, Ashley has also been a BEST Plus Trainer at the Center for Applied Linguistics, training and recertifying Test Administrators. Ashley holds a Master of Education in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from Regent University, as well as Bachelor's degrees in History and Spanish Language and Literature from Virginia Commonwealth University.
