Daniel Castro is currently the Director at the Center for Data Innovation where Daniel researches and analyzes the impact of data-driven innovation on industry and government. Daniel is also a Contributing Writer at Government Technology, focusing on the impact of information technology on state and local government. Daniel is the Vice President at The Information Technology & Innovation Foundation, where Daniel publishes research on information policy issues. Prior to this, Daniel worked as an Analyst at the Government Accountability Office, auditing IT security controls at various government agencies. Daniel holds a MS in Information Security Technology & Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Science Technology and International Affairs from Georgetown University.
