Ashly McFarlane is a seasoned professional in the fields of market transformation, regulatory policy, and energy management with extensive experience spanning over a decade. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Market Transformation Regulatory Policy & Forecasting at the Center for Energy and Environment since October 2023, Ashly co-founded Two Degrees Adapt and held multiple roles at Xcel Energy, including Principal Strategy and Performance Consultant and Technical Regulatory Consultant. Previous positions include Program Manager at the Center for Energy and Environment and Research Manager at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, where support was provided to sustainable infrastructure projects. Earlier career highlights include serving as a Senior Analyst at PPC, leading energy management projects, and as a Research Assistant at NASA. Ashly holds a Master’s Degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
