Josh Quinnell is a Senior Research Scientist and Senior Research Engineer at the Center for Energy and Environment, where since September 2013, research projects have been proposed, developed, and conducted in building science and clean energy, focusing on energy consumption, generation systems, cost reduction, and environmental sustainability. Prior experience includes a postdoc at ZAE Bayern specializing in advanced thermal storage applications and extensive research assistant roles at the University of Minnesota, which involved developing a novel thermal storage technology and evaluating Stirling engine reliability. Josh Quinnell holds a PhD, MS, and BS in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Thermal Sciences from the University of Minnesota.
