Marvin Stepherson, BS, MSL, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in law enforcement training and education. Currently serving as a Consulting Specialist for Cultural Inclusion at the Center for Governmental Research in Rochester, NY, Marvin has also been a Training Specialist for WSM Trainers & Consultants since 2014, focusing on advanced campus security and crime prevention. As an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at both Roberts Wesleyan College and Monroe Community College, Marvin combines real-world expertise with academic theory to enrich criminal justice and personal defense curricula. Additionally, Marvin held the position of Chairperson of the Board for Inclusive Woods and Us, a nonprofit aimed at promoting health and wellness in the BIPOC community. Previous roles include Deputy Sheriff with the Erie County Sheriff and a retired Road Patrol Sergeant with the Rochester Police Department, along with service in the United States Coast Guard Reserves. Marvin holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Leadership and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Safety Administration/Organizational Management from Roberts Wesleyan University.
