Susie Sutphin

Susie Sutphin is an experienced professional in community food systems and strategic planning, currently serving as the Community Food Program Manager at the Center for Land-Based Learning since April 2023. With extensive expertise as the Founder and Senior Advisor of Tahoe Food Hub since June 2011, Susie has been instrumental in developing sustainable local food initiatives and overseeing organizational strategy. Previously, Susie acted as Founder and Executive Director of Tahoe Food Hub, where the foundation of the organization was established through a comprehensive study and meticulous planning. Earlier roles include Tour Manager for the Wild & Scenic Film Festival, where logistics and promotional activities for the festival were managed, and Athletes & Events Manager at Patagonia, focusing on grassroots marketing strategies. Susie began their career as Sales & Marketing Manager for Couloir Magazine, directing advertising sales and marketing efforts. Susie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from John Carroll University.
