Matt Altieri is a Senior Analyst and Renewable Energy Analyst at the Center for Resource Solutions since May 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute, where responsibilities included field work, data analysis, and logistical planning for a forest ecology project, as well as leading a carbon footprint analysis of the Smithsonian Institute in Panama. Matt also interned at the Massachusetts Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health, focusing on environmental justice education for Spanish-speaking communities, and worked as a Water Quality Analyst at EST Associates, Inc., collecting water samples for bacterial analysis. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from UMass Boston and has completed coursework in Music Therapy at Berklee College of Music.
