Sarah Berlin

Director of Civic Information at Center for Tech and Civic Life

Sarah Berlin started their work experience in 2012 as a Program Assistant at Oxfam America. In 2014, they became a Civic Data Research Fellow at the New Organizing Institute. In 2015, they joined the Center for Technology and Civic Life as a Research Associate and later became a Research Manager. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at Democracy Works, starting as a Data Specialist and progressing to become a Program Director for the Voting Information Project and then a Senior Director of Election Administration. Currently, they are the Director of Civic Information at the Center for Tech and Civic Life, starting in 2022.

Sarah Berlin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies and Women's and Gender Studies from Carleton College in 2012. In 2010, they also attended HECUA for a period of time, where they studied Urban Studies.
