Danielle Hyman

Danielle Hyman, PhD, currently serves as the Executive Director and Head of Medical Affairs at Centessa Pharmaceuticals since May 2025. Prior to this role, Danielle held key positions at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., including Senior Global Medical Director and Global Medical Director within hematology and nephrology. At Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Danielle worked as Medical Director for both hematology and cystic fibrosis. Extensive experience in medical affairs was further developed during tenure at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, where Danielle progressed through various roles, including Global Medical Director in neuroscience and sleep. Earlier in the career, Danielle was a Medical Science Liaison at Teva Pharmaceuticals and a Clinical Trial Liaison at DAVA Oncology. Danielle’s academic foundation includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Cell Biology from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Messiah University.
