Brian Li has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Brian started their career at Simon Fraser University as a Teaching Assistant in 2006. In 2007, they joined Deloitte Canada as a Manager, where they managed engagement teams for both private and public financial institution and mining clients. Brian advised on IPOs, M&A transactions, and complex accounting during their time there. In 2014, Brian joined Central 1, where they held several roles including AVP Accounting and Reporting, Director FP&A, Director of Finance, and Finance Manager. Brian also served as the Acting/Interim Chief Financial Officer and is currently the VP Financial Controller.
Brian Li attended Simon Fraser University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting (Honors). Brian obtained a certification as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) from the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia. No specific dates were provided for the completion of the degree or certification.
