Melissa O'Connell has over 16 years of experience in human resources. Melissa started their career as a Human Resource Generalist at Royal & Sun Alliance in 2003, where they worked until 2005. Melissa then joined Central 1 Credit Union as a Human Resources Generalist, and later progressed to the role of Human Resources Manager from 2013 to 2017. In October 2017, Melissa became the HR Director at Central 1 Credit Union. Melissa also served as a Board Member at The Family Place Child Care Centre from June 2019 to November 2021.
Melissa O'Connell has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Statistics from Western University. Melissa pursued this degree from 1998 to 2002. In addition, Melissa also obtained an Executive Education from Columbia Business School in 2015, where they focused on Powering Organizational and Individual Performance.
