Hatem Ibrahim is currently the Sub Governor for Risk Management and Information Security at the Central Bank of Egypt. Prior to this, they were the Vice President and Head of Operations at Union National Bank. In this role, they oversaw the functions of all department managers in order to ensure smooth operations of the bank. Hatem also was responsible for identifying, measuring and evaluating the various operations risk indicators for all departments, as well as providing a cost effective financial budget and manpower budget based on business projections. In addition, they benchmarked the bank’s service delivery against competition and implemented processes that were best in industry. Hatem also led a team to ensure the Banks' continuation plans.
Hatem Ibrahim has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Cairo University and has a certificate in Banking Future Leaders Program from Egyptian Banking Institute_Future Leaders Graduate. Hatem also has a First Certificate of English "FCE" - Oxoford in Language from British Council. Hatem is also a Third Place Winner in The Bourse Game workshop from Egyptian Banking Institute, lectured by Theodore Leventis.
