Elizabeth Kiiru Kahare is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in IT infrastructure and operations. Currently serving as Senior Manager at the Central Bank of Kenya since February 2020, Elizabeth develops programs aimed at implementing transformational change through emerging technologies. Prior to this role, Elizabeth was the Technical Support Specialist Lead at IBM East Africa from January 2014 to February 2020, where responsibilities included the coordination and delivery of technology solutions and exceptional service experiences. Elizabeth's career also includes a position as a Senior System Engineer at Safaricom Ltd, providing technical expertise in system administration for complex operating systems, and as a System Engineer at Seven Seas Technologies, focusing on UNIX and Linux administration. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems from the University of Nairobi.
