Sean Quarmby, M.Ed., is a novelist and educator with extensive experience in criminal justice and law enforcement. Currently serving as a faculty member at Central Piedmont Community College, Quarmby prepares undergraduate students for careers in the criminal justice system, teaching a variety of courses. Quarmby's professional background includes a distinguished 25-year career with the U.S. Secret Service, where responsibilities ranged from supervising investigations related to cyber crime and fraud to coordinating security clearances for White House personnel. In October 2021, Quarmby published the novel “Room 23 - A Secret Service Agent’s Story of Espionage and Intrigue,” drawing on personal experiences as a retired Secret Service agent. Quarmby holds a Master’s Degree in Education Administration and Supervision from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice/Public Administration from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
