Lauri Haiko has extensive experience in business development and innovation commercialization, currently serving as the Director of the Green Campus Open Accelerator at Lappeenranta University of Technology since February 2012. Additionally, Lauri holds the position of Director at LAB University of Applied Sciences and has been a Certified Consultant for Innovation Commercialisation at the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment since June 2014. Lauri is also the Founder and Chairman of Agile Media Oy and has held various advisory and managerial roles, including Board Advisor at Vipetec Oy and Development Director at Saimaa University of Applied Sciences. Lauri's educational background includes a Master of Science degree in Knowledge Management and Digital Media from Lappeenranta University of Technology and certification as an Approved Board Professional from the Central Chamber of Commerce Finland.

ELY Centres have three areas of responsibility: • Business and industry, labour force, competence and cultural activities • Transport and infrastructure • Environment and natural resources The Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment steer and supervise the activities of the Employment and Economic Development Offices (TE Offices).
