Position Objective
The Carpenter position performs various field labor tasks during the construction phase of the project.
Essential Job Functions
Perform basic labor and/or carpentry tasks at a job site or in regard to a special project assignment
Maintain a construction site that is well-organized and clear of debris
Load and unload construction materials to assist in job site progress
Utilize light industrial equipment to complete larger labor tasks as directed by the onsite Superintendent or other member of field management
Drive to local hardware stores to obtain materials or equipment necessary for the completion of job site tasks (as directed by onsite field management)
Utilize knowledge of all local, state and federal safety regulations to ensure labor tasks are completed in a safe manner
Basic Qualifications
8-10 years experience in residential finish work
Valid driver’s license
OSHA-10 certification required within 30 days of hire
