Ron Maccracken

Ron Maccracken is a seasoned software professional with extensive experience in software development and architecture, particularly in UI design and 3D modeling. Currently serving as Development Lead and Principal Software Architect at Centric Software, Inc. since 2005, Ron has played a pivotal role in the evolution of Centric 8 PLM, transforming it from a view-only engine to a comprehensive HTML/CSS/JavaScript Dojo-based UI. Prior to this, Ron contributed as a Software Engineer at Centric Software from 2000 to 2004, where responsibilities included leading engineering efforts on products for virtual prototyping in C++. Ron began career as a Software Engineer at Coryphaeus from 1996 to 2000, focusing on 3D environment design tools. Ron holds a Master's degree in Computer Graphics from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
