Marlies Vandenberghe has extensive experience in the technology industry, with their most recent position being at Cerba Research as an Application Support & Delivery lead starting in June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Skyline Communications for several years. At Skyline, Marlies held various roles including Global Operations Manager, Technical Support Manager, Technical Account Manager, and System Engineer. Throughout their time at Skyline, Marlies demonstrated strong leadership skills and was responsible for overseeing maintenance and support activities for customers and projects. Marlies also played a key role in project management and implementation. Marlies has experience with various software and database systems, including MySQL, Cassandra, and Elastic.
Marlies Vandenberghe completed their Master's degree in Industrial Engineer Electronics - ICT (ICT) from Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven', Gent, from 2004 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended Klein Seminarie Roeselare from 1998 to 2004, where they focused on Science - Mathematics. In 2016, they enrolled in the Management Acceleration Programme at Vlerick Business School, completing it in 2017.
