Jason Wong is a seasoned engineering professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Cerebras Systems since November 2020, Jason previously held roles as a Staff Software Engineer at InVision, leading the development of a high-performance document and rendering engine, and as a Senior Manager at Thomson Reuters, where the focus was on app hosting platforms in the cloud. Earlier experience includes positions at Intel Corporation as an Engineering Manager, enhancing FPGA compiler quality-of-results, and at Altera in multiple capacities, including Manager of the low-level software stack and Senior Member of Technical Staff, where significant advancements in OpenCL optimizations and physical synthesis algorithms were achieved.
