Vithu Thangarasa is an accomplished researcher and machine learning expert with extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. Currently serving as the Lead Research Scientist in Machine Learning at Cerebras Systems since January 2020, Vithu focuses on enhancing deep learning algorithms utilizing wafer-scale processing for applications in computer vision and natural language. Vithu holds a Master's of Applied Science degree and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Systems and Computing from the University of Guelph.
