Yifeng Zhang

Yifeng Zhang is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in large-scale distributed systems and machine learning. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Cerebras Systems since March 2022, Yifeng focuses on scaling LLM distributed training through Kubernetes integration. Prior experience includes a role as Software Engineer at Amazon, contributing to AWS EKS ETCD, and a significant tenure at Baidu, Inc. as Senior Software Engineer, where Yifeng led the development of a training/inference cloud service platform and built a low latency backend service for a large-scale face recognition application. Earlier positions include software engineering roles at Microsoft, working on Bing Ads, and at Tencent, focusing on e-commerce backend data analytics. Yifeng holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Southeast University.
