Guy Neyens has over 30 years of experience in the software engineering industry. Guy started their career at Sparnex as a Software Engineer from October 1988 to December 1989. Guy then worked at Siemens in various roles, including Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, from January 1990 to January 2001. During their time at Siemens, they worked on development projects in CHILL on EWSD public exchange, including maintenance software, OSI stack development, and call processing features. From February 2001 to March 2003, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Unisphere Networks. At Juniper Networks, Guy worked as a Senior Software Developer from April 2003 to November 2012. In this role, they contributed to the development of DPI solutions and worked on various projects, such as IPsec and GRE. Following this, they worked at Iceberg Networks Corporation as a Software Engineer from March 2013 to June 2013. Finally, they joined Rockport Networks Inc. in July 2013 as a Senior Software Designer.

Guy Neyens obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from KU Leuven, where they studied from 1985 to 1988. Prior to that, they attended Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen from 1981 to 1985, during which they pursued Industrial Engineering.
