Jean Ouellet has over 20 years of experience in the field of product verification and characterization testing. Jean started their career in 1999 at Nortel Networks as a Product Verification Engineer. From 2001 to 2003, they worked as a System Integration Specialist at Ceyba Corporation. In 2003, they joined Tropics Networks as a Quality Assurance Specialist. From 2004 to 2016, they worked at BTI Systems as a Product Verification and Characterization Testing professional. At Juniper Networks, they held the role of HW Engineering Sr Staff - Optical Characterization Lead from 2016 to 2019. Currently, they are working at Rockport Networks Inc. as a Product Verification Engineer. Throughout their career, Jean has led technical groups, conducted testing on complex optical systems, and designed and executed automated and manual test suites.
Jean Ouellet obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke, where they studied from 1994 to 1998.
