Gonzalo Menéndez Borge

Gonzalo Menéndez Borge currently serves as the DevOps Tech Lead at CERN since October 2018, focusing on improving benchmarks within the High Energy Physics (HEP) community and leading monitoring solutions for CERN's Data Center. Prior to this role, Gonzalo worked as a Data Platform Engineer at CERN's IT department, contributing to the monitoring systems for a large-scale scientific infrastructure supporting over 40,000 hosts. Gonzalo's earlier experience includes an internship as a Full-stack Developer at Mecalux Warehouse Solutions, where skills were applied in developing a full-stack project from scratch. Educational qualifications comprise a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity and Privacy from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Universidad de Oviedo, complemented by an Honours Bachelor of Science in Software Development from Munster Technological University.
