Jesse Geens

Jesse Geens is a Software Engineer at CERN since September 2024, with prior experience at icometrix focusing on cloud and security technologies, particularly in building microservices on AWS for ML pipelines in medical imaging. As a Co-Founder of TapToChill, Jesse developed a friend-meeting application using Dart/Flutter and Firebase. An internship as a DevSecOps Engineer at OMP provided insights into supply chain planning software, while earlier roles included Linux Development Intern and Back-end Software Engineering Intern at VersaSense, gaining extensive experience in IoT and various technologies. Jesse is a graduate of KU Leuven, holding a Master's degree in Computer Science, and has studied at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, among other educational pursuits.
