Marcos Marin

Marcos Marin is an accomplished Industrial Controls and Automation Engineer currently employed at CERN since August 2021, specializing in the design, development, and testing of PLC-based industrial control systems for high power converters and static var compensators. Previously, Marcos held roles at CRISA as a Software and Automation Engineer and at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid as a Robotics Integration Engineer for the BADGER project, where responsibilities included hardware and software integration, PLC programming, and system integration across various subsystems. Earlier experience includes an internship at Siemens as an Automation Technical Support Trainee and a quality control internship at OLE Ltd in Guangzhou. Marcos holds a Master of Engineering in Robotics and Automation and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technologies Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, along with an exchange program at Inha University.
