Vladimír Bahyl has extensive experience in information technology, currently serving as the Senior Information Technology Service Delivery Manager at CERN since 2001, where responsibilities include managing the CERN data archive with a capacity of over 600 PB and overseeing the IBM Spectrum Protect backup service with a capacity of 15 PB. Key duties involve capacity planning, procurement, day-to-day operations, data migrations, vendor support, and beta-testing of tape technology products, along with expertise in various tape libraries and drives. Prior to CERN, Vladimír was an Application Developer at UNI-C from 1998 to 2001. Vladimír holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Czech Technical University in Prague, completed in 1998, and attended Gymnázium Ľudovíta Štúra in Zvolen from 1988 to 1992.
