Michael Brunner is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in security engineering and architecture. Currently serving as a Partner and Head of Security Engineering at CERTAINITY since June 2022, Michael previously held the position of Lead Security Architect at ARZ Allgemeines Rechenzentrum GmbH from October 2020 to May 2022. Prior roles include significant positions at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck as a Universitätsassistent and Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter, alongside consultancy roles in IT management and software development at various companies. Michael holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Informatics, a Master of Science in Informatics, and a Bachelor of Science in Informatics, all from Universität Innsbruck.
