Research Intern (onsite)

This is a 3 month internship, 5 days onsite at Concord, CA.

Start date: May or June

Primary Responsibilities:

• Execute experiments, analyze data, and interpret results under supervision.
• Handle blood products such as whole blood, plasma and cryoprecipitate.
• May present results of data at departmental or project meetings.
• Assist with maintenance of general lab function and laboratory instruments.
• Document work in laboratory notebook in an accurate and timely manner.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications/Requirements/Skills:

• Completion of at least two years of college coursework. Pursuing a degree in a scientific discipline.
• Previous laboratory experience or relevant coursework preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Results driven and highly motivated self-starter.

Hourly rate: $23
