Veena Pata

Veena Pata is a seasoned professional in drug product development and manufacturing, currently serving as Senior Director at Cerus since March 2017, with prior roles including Director and Associate Director. Pata has extensive experience gained from previous positions at Dynavax Technologies as a Senior Scientist and Scientist III, and at Affymax Inc. as a Staff Scientist. Early career experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health and a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Drexel University, where studies were conducted from 1999 to 2004.
