Janet Gurwitch

Janet Gurwitch is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the beauty and retail industries. Currently serving on the Board of Governors for CEW since January 2018, Janet also holds positions as an investor and on the Board of Directors for the Houston Astros and Olaplex Inc. Notable previous roles include Operating Partner at Advent International and Castanea Partners, and founder and former CEO of Gurwitch Products/Laura Mercier Cosmetics. Janet's strategic leadership contributed to the growth of Laura Mercier into a leading global cosmetics brand. Additionally, Janet has served on the Board for several influential beauty companies, including Drybar, Tatcha, and Urban Decay, and held the position of Executive Vice-President at Neiman Marcus, overseeing significant sales operations. Janet holds a Bachelor's degree in Retail from The University of Alabama.
