Rene Wessels

Rene Wessels is a seasoned project director with extensive experience in project management and development across various sectors. Currently serving at CGI since January 2012, Rene has led projects in the ITS domain, including EcoMove and Mobinet, while also contributing to international standardization efforts as a member of the ISO/NEN Normcommissie. Prior roles include competence manager and project director at Logica, where Rene managed employee development plans and played a pivotal role in multiple ITS projects. Additional experience includes senior project management roles at Ventus Information Management and Essent, involvement with the Dutch Army as a reserve officer, and managerial positions in consulting and IT development. Rene's educational background spans diverse fields from 1972 to 1980.
