Chai Watana Tannery Group Public Company Limited is a Thailand-based manufacturing company. The Company is principally engaged in the operation of tanneries; the manufacture and sale of dog chews and allied products; the production and marketing of leather furniture, as well as the manufacture of automotive seats and interior car decorative such as cushions, door panels, steering wheels and gear knobs. Its products are sold in both domestic and overseas markets. The Company has one subsidiary, Pala Assets Company Limited. On August 9, 2012, the Company invested in a joint venture company, namely Chai Wattana and Toyo Company Limited, which is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of car cushions to both domestic and overseas markets. On January 3, 2014, the Company announced that it has increased its stake in Chai Watana Trim Co Ltd from 47.5% to52.49%.
