Richard Lu serves as the Chief Revenue Officer and General Manager of US and Taiwan Operations at Chain Reaction Ltd. since September 2019. In this role, Richard pioneers Privacy Enhancing Technologies to further advancements in AI and HPC while enabling Blockchain infrastructure for various applications. Prior to this, Richard held several key positions at TSMC from 1998 to July 2019, including Executive Vice President of Sales and Operations, where responsibility included business expansion in the North America Southwest Sales Region. Richard's career also includes roles as Director and Deputy Director of Business Management, alongside pioneering initiatives like the Emerging Accounts Program and the India Project. Additionally, Richard has academic experience as an Assistant Professor at National Chung Cheng University and research contributions as a Senior R&D Process Engineer at IDT. Richard holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University.
