Lisanne Matena has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. Lisanne began their career as a Cashier at Albert Heijn, a role they held until 2012. In 2014, they moved to PLUS Retail as a Supervisor checkout team. In 2016, they worked as a Service employee at Opella and a Supervisor checkout team Albert Heijn at BUN. That same year, they interned at the World Bank Group as a Consultant, where they worked on a project under the Agriculture Global Practice. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Uitzendkracht at YOUBAHN, and from 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Policy Officer at NEPLUVI, representing the interests of the Dutch Poultry Processing Industry on Dutch and European level. Most recently, they have been a Customer Success Specialist at ChainCraft since 2022.
Lisanne Matena obtained their Pre-University Education from Baken Trinitas Gymnasium from 2005 to 2011. Lisanne then attended Wageningen University & Research from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences. Lisanne continued their studies at Wageningen University & Research from 2015 to 2018, earning a Master of Science in Animal Sciences. In December 2020, they obtained a Poultry Welfare Officer certification from SVO vakopleiding food. Currently, they are attending Aeres Training Centre Barneveld from 2021 to 2022, where they are studying to become an Aspirant manege-instructeur - ORUN 2. Additionally, they obtained a BHV certification from Paraat Training en Advies B.V. in July 2021.
