John Osborne has worked in the software industry since 2004. John began their career as a Software Engineer at Cantata Technology (now Dialogic), where they developed a large parsing program, improved customer application availability and response time, and interfaced with customers from five different continents. In 2007, they moved to Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWAR) as an Infrastructure Lead / SRE, where they built infrastructure from the ground up, lead a team of systems engineers, and owned the availability and performance of mission-critical services. John also worked as a Senior Computer Scientist, designing, developing, and implementing SOA based core services. In 2013, they joined Red Hat as the North American Practice Lead - DevSecOps, Chief Architect, Senior Middleware and Cloud Architect, and Middleware Solutions Architect. Most recently, they have been working as a Software Supply Chain Architect at Chainguard, Inc since 2022.
John Osborne's education history includes a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from Auburn University (2010-2015), a Master of Business Administration from Darla Moore School of Business (2005-2008), a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Clemson University (2000-2004), and a high school diploma from Falmouth High School (1996-2000).
