Nawal Zahid Mehmood - ACCA has a solid work experience in the field of finance and accounting. Nawal Zahid started their career as a Financial Analyst at Creative Business School in 2015. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as an Assurance Associate at EY, where they gained experience in financial audits and analyzing business structures. Nawal Zahid then progressed to the role of Senior Associate at EY from 2018 to 2019, where they audited companies operating in trading and implemented changes in financial statements based on IFRS 9.

Currently, Nawal is employed at Chalhoub Group since 2021, initially holding the position of Senior Accountant and now Chief Accountant. In this role, they manage and maintains the reporting and accounting side of the business, ensures proper implementation of IFRS across the group, and prepares financial statements as per international accounting standards. Nawal Zahid also oversees the implementation of IFRS-16 Leases at a regional level across the Gulf and collaborates with the team and auditors for year-end procedures.
Nawal Zahid Mehmood - ACCA has a Certified Accountant degree from ACCA obtained between 2012 and 2015. They also have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Oxford Brookes University, completed during the same time period. Prior to that, Nawal completed the Certified Accounting Technician course at ACCA in 2011. For their high school education, they attended Punjab College from 2008 to 2010, studying Business/Commerce, General.
