Brian Oliver currently serves as the Member Solutions Manager at Champion Credit Union, where Brian has held multiple titles including Financial Service Specialist and Member Services Specialist since May 2021. Prior to this role, Brian was the Store Manager at Tractor Supply Company from June 2019 to May 2021. Brian also gained extensive retail management experience at Barnes & Noble, Inc., where employment spanned from April 1995 to April 2019 and included positions as Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. Brian Oliver earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Oakland University between 2000 and 2003.

During a time when businesses were failing across the country, a small paper mill in Canton, North Carolina was thriving, leaving employees in need of a safe place to save their money. In 1932, seven employees of Champion Paper Fibre Company joined together to create Champion Savings and Loan, known today as Champion Credit Union. We offer the same products and services as a bank, but we are a not-for-profit banking cooperative, owned by our members, not by shareholders. In 2000, Champion Credit Union eagerly began offering their services to the public, now serving over 24,000 members in Haywood, Buncombe, Henderson, Jackson, Swain, Madison, Graham, Macon, and Transylvania Counties.
