Cynthia Wong is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and strategic development within the nonprofit and financial sectors. Currently serving as Director of Operations for the Education Initiative at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative since 2021, Cynthia has previously held key roles such as Senior Advisor at the Seattle Foundation, where strategic partnerships were formed to launch a significant impact investment fund. As Executive Director of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, Cynthia led the Bay Area office and initiated one of the largest affordable housing funds in the nation. Additionally, experience at Morgan Stanley as Vice President of Global Sustainable Finance involved managing impact investment products. Earlier roles at The Bridgespan Group and Marakon included consulting on strategic planning and growth strategies for organizations. Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
