Emma Hiza is a seasoned education leader with a strong background in public health and educational innovation. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Education at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative since August 2018, Emma co-founded and directed Thrival World Academies, focusing on providing academically rigorous international education to diverse student populations. Emma's extensive experience includes roles as an Innovation School Fellow with The Mind Trust, School Design Lab Fellow with Educate78, and Curriculum Consultant for the McKinsey Social Initiative, among others. Emma holds a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, a Master of Education from Arcadia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins University. Emma's commitment to improving educational access and outcomes is evident throughout a diverse career dedicated to fostering global engagement in education.
