Jamie Friedman is an experienced professional with a diverse background in project management, case management, and education. Currently serving as Manager of Special Projects at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Jamie has played various roles including Program & Operations Associate and Project Coordinator since September 2019. Previous experience includes working as a Housing Case Manager at Compass Family Services, assisting families experiencing homelessness in San Francisco, and interning at Kaiser Permanente, where evidence-based recommendations were made to improve school lunch programs. Additional roles include Research Assistant at Whitman College, where Jamie studied the cognitive impacts of poverty on infants, and teaching positions that focused on literacy and math skills for underserved students. Jamie holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from Whitman College.
