Katie Gibson is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in internal communications, inclusion and diversity, and audio production. Currently serving as Communications Manager at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative since June 2022, Katie leads internal communication projects across various teams, focusing on employee engagement, DEI, and learning and development. Prior to this role, significant contributions were made at Accenture from 2014 to 2022, where Katie served in multiple managerial positions, developing impactful communication strategies for a broad audience and supporting executive messaging. Earlier career experience includes roles in audio production at WGN Radio and Harpo Productions, as well as positions in marketing and communications at Groupon and Blue Chip Marketing. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Design & Technology from Purdue University.
