Mari K. Wright is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in monitoring, evaluation, and strategic initiatives within nonprofit and international development sectors. Currently serving as the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Manager for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative since October 2022, Mari previously held positions such as Adaptive Management and Evaluation Officer at the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, where responsibilities included managing evaluations and providing strategic support for the Patient Care Program. Early career roles included Program Advisor at the Africa Education & Leadership Initiative, where Mari focused on gender equity and educational programs, and Research Consultant for Catholic Relief Services in El Salvador, conducting vital research on the cocoa industry's revitalization. Mari holds a Master's degree in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a Bachelor's degree in English and History from Bates College.
