Ruby B.

Ruby B. has extensive experience in community development and housing policy, currently serving as Head of Community at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative since May 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing the Housing Affordability program and a Bay Area giving program. Previously, Ruby held various roles at FivePoint Communities, including Development Manager, focusing on significant revitalization projects. Additional experience includes roles as Market Analyst at JLL, Graduate Research Assistant at UCLA, and project coordinator at the City of Joburg Department of Housing. Ruby’s educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from UCLA and a BA in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
