Sam Scheetz currently serves as a Product Operations professional in the Education sector at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative since February 2022. Previously, Sam worked as a Learning Designer at Emile Learning and held internships at Outschool and Along, where Along focuses on facilitating teacher-student communication through an interactive video journal. Sam has significant experience in mentorship and educational programs, having been the Director of Programs at Spark, a nonprofit connecting Title I middle school students with mentors. Sam completed an AmeriCorps service as a Teaching Fellow at Great Oaks Charter School and gained editorial experience through an internship at Philadelphia Magazine. Academically, Sam holds a Master of Education from Harvard University, specializing in Technology Innovation & Education, and a Bachelor's Degree in History with a concentration in Diplomatic Studies and Italian from the University of Pennsylvania. Further studies were pursued at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
