Stephen Jett is a highly experienced program manager currently overseeing the Frontiers of Imaging programs at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative since April 2021, focusing on innovative research in cellular imaging and DEI funding opportunities. In parallel, Stephen serves as President of the New Mexico Academy of Science, having also held the positions of President Elect and Vice President. Previous roles include Director of Imaging Resources at Sandia National Laboratories and AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow at the National Cancer Institute. Stephen's academic background includes substantial expertise in biophysical sciences, culminating in a Ph.D. from The University of New Mexico, coupled with postdoctoral research at the Max Planck Institute.
