Lewis Murton began their work experience in 2007 as a Referee for The Football Association. In 2011, they transitioned to working as a General Assistant at Sainsbury's until 2012. From 2012 to 2013, they served as a Profit Recovery Auditor at Audit Partnership. Lewis then worked as an Audit Assistant at Baker Tilly from 2014 to 2015. Afterwards, they joined Baldwins Accountants as an Audit Senior from 2015 to 2019. Currently, since 2019, Lewis has been employed at Changing Lives, first as a Project Accountant until 2021, and currently as the Financial Planning and Analysis Lead.

Lewis Murton attended Northumbria University from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a degree in Business with Economics. In December 2018, they also obtained the ACA certification from ICAEW.
