Josh Donaghay-Spire has a diverse work experience in the wine industry. Josh started their career as a Cellarhand at Domaine Zind Humbrecht in 2008, where they worked from July to October. Following that, they worked as a Cellarhand at Champagne Pascal Doquet from September to December 2009. In 2010, they joined Chapel Down Group and worked their way up, starting as an Assistant Winemaker from January 2010 to November 2013. Josh then took on the role of Winemaker from November 2013 to February 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Operations Director and Head Winemaker at Chapel Down Group since February 2022. Although specific end dates are not provided for their current role, it can be assumed that they are still employed at Chapel Down Group.

Josh Donaghay-Spire completed their Bachelor's Degree in Viticulture & Oenology from Plumpton College. Josh attended Plumpton College from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a General Certificate in Brewing from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling, with the exact duration of the program not specified.
