Valerie “Val” Zolman is the chief compliance officer for Chapters Health System. Prior to this role, Val was the vice president of compliance for the system, which she assumed in April 2022.
After starting her healthcare career at DaVita demonstrating a track record in all aspects of healthcare compliance, Val worked her way into hospice. She first joined Cornerstone Hospice & Palliative Care as the director of compliance and privacy in 2017, subsequently served as the vice president and chief compliance officer. She has over 20 years of compliance experience in acute and post-acute settings. Val received her associate of art degree in arts and business from the College of Central Florida in Ocala, Florida.
